Received proof copies via UPS! Thanks for meeting up with us in Lyons, Kyle! Sent a book copy to our editor for one last look before approving the book for printing.
Approving the book for printing is a big deal, as IngramSpark will put our book into their catalog, which is subsequently distributed to 38,000 distributors world-wide.
Submitted our final book PDFs to IngramSpark to order our second electronic proof. Approved the electronic proof after reviewing it. Then ordered some physical proof copies to be sent to our house. They should be here before Christmas! What a present to ourselves!
Sent book PDFs to Ingram Spark for the initial electronic and printed proof copies to be made. The next few days will involve passing copies out, reading, re-reading and reading yet again, our little book!
After many iterations and meetings, the book editing done. Now on to layout, including photos!
Sent the final chapter to our editor! There will be much more editing to do before publication, but this will complete the first round of editing.

Excitement was in the air, and we learned that people don't go to Christmas Shows to buy books. There was definite overwhelm of senses for the shoppers - by the time they got to our author's guild booth, their eyes had glazed over!
Today, we built the beginnings of our Amazon author pages and created our 10,000 Steps Straight Up book page.
